Herbert Kyeyamwa

In 2010, Herbert Kyeyamwa became Managing Director of AgroWays (U) Ltd – an Agricultural and Agroprocessing business he founded in 1995 with headquarters in Jinja and branches in other parts of the Uganda. He is active in National and regional fora on Agriculture marketing and is a member of the East African Grain Council. His main fields of interest are Policies on Rural Development, Agriculture marketing and Value addition especially collective marketing, sustainable farming and investments in farming industry. He has authored a number of publications based on analysing agriculture value chains using New Institutional Economics approach. He had a career with Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries of the Republic of Uganda until 2014. Among other achievements he headed several technical teams in the design of at least four Rural Development Projects focusing on Enhancing Production and Agricultural Marketing that qualified and were implemented with funding from the African Development Bank.
